At AGHEC Foundation, we believe that nurturing nature is the first step toward nurturing life. Through our flagship initiative “Sow Today, Thrive Tomorrow,” we have been conducting tree plantation drives across schools and communities in Assam to promote environmental awareness, biodiversity, and sustainable living.

About the Initiative

The campaign aims to create green learning spaces by involving students, teachers, and local communities in hands-on environmental action. Every tree planted symbolizes hope — for cleaner air, richer biodiversity, and a healthier tomorrow.

Our Plantation Drives in 2025

In April and June 2025, we organized plantation drives at:

• Srimanta Sankardeva Vidyalaya, Noonmati – on Earth Day (22 April 2025)

• Royal Public School, Datalpara – on World Environment Day (5 June 2025)

With the support of the Divisional Forest Officer (Kamrup East & Social Forestry Division, Basistha) and Aryani Nursery, Satgaon, students and volunteers planted over 50 saplings, cleaned the campus, and attended awareness sessions on the importance of protecting the environment.

Our Vision Ahead

AGHEC Foundation plans to expand the Sow Today, Thrive Tomorrow program to 300 schools over five years, planting more than 22,500 saplings and engaging 60,000+ students. Each drive is not just about planting trees — it’s about cultivating a generation that values and protects the planet.
